We hope it will simplify your quest for the perfect camp, if you've arrived here, you are already in the right place!

How long has the camp been in business?

  • This should probably be the first item on your list when looking for a summer camp. While there's nothing wrong with new camps, the longer they've been in the business, the more they have covered the basic aspects of camp life. Here at Valley Trails, we have been in business for over 50 years.

Choosing a theme

  • All kids are different and don't always like what everybody else does. When choosing a summer camp, always keep your kid's dreams in mind in order to find the perfect option for them. Are they more academically inclined? There are camps for that. Would they rather do more rugged outdoor activities? There are camps for that too! So keep your mind open and don't forget to ask your child what they would rather do. We are pleased to offer a number of different program options to suit every type of camper at Valley Trails!

How much will it cost?

  • While this is probably the biggest question on your mind, and it may seem like camp is unaffordable, your best bet is to keep your mind open. Many camps offer special rates that can help that can help you secure summer fun for your child at a low cost. Right now at Valley Trails, we have great summer early bird rates until March 27!!

Reputation matters

  • There's no reason why you should send your child to a camp in which he won't have an amazing experience. Check out the camp's reputation and prior success. This will give you a good idea about what you can expect your child to get out of it. We are proud to have a reputation of being the funnest camp in town with campers that join us year after year.

Making friends for life

  • One of the big things to keep in mind is that camp is meant for kids to make new friends, with these relationships lasting long into adulthood, so make sure you are choosing an age-appropriate camp for your child where the other campers are in the same age range. This will make the whole experience even more fun while cementing the way your child interacts with others.

Does the camp accommodate special needs?

  • This is a very important fact to consider when choosing a summer camp, especially if your child has an allergy or needs a little extra assistance in certain activities. Yoru child is our #1 priority and we work to ensure every camper's needs are met!!

Make sure the camp's values and rules are similar to those you have at home!

  • This will help your child have an even more positive experience because he or she already understands the rules that are in place.
Summer is a magical time for children and choosing a summer camp that enhances the magic is something a child will never forget. At Valley Trails Summer Camp, we are thrilled to not only meet your expectations but exceed them time and time again!
