Movie Making

Valley Trails Summer Camp invites young aspiring filmmakers to embark on a cinematic journey through its 1-week Movie Making camp. Tailored for campers entering grades 4-8, this immersive experience offers an opportunity to dive into the world of filmmaking. Participants will unleash their creativity as they learn to craft compelling stories, develop scripts, direct scenes, and edit their very own movie projects.

Under the guidance of Ali Deyer, campers will explore various aspects of the filmmaking process, from brainstorming initial ideas to post-production. Through hands-on activities and collaborative teamwork, budding filmmakers will have the opportunity to practice camera operation, lighting, sound, and editing. Campers will not only refine their technical skills but also develop critical communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities. The camp fosters a supportive environment where campers can experiment, take risks, and bring their unique visions to life on the screen.

Session 1: June 17-21
